The Queens-based Mariana Bekerman Dance Company will be performing at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center (inside the Little Theater) on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 8pm. Presenting an edited version of TARO (which, originally premiered at the Joyce SoHo last fall) along with sections of their newer work in progress from BLACK & WHITE, dancers battle with their inner demons, enlighten the soul, and share modern man's complexities in a world full of chaos and disorder. An international cast fusing vogue dance with the classics, MBDC stirs emotions and awakens the senses, sharing personal and collective experiences with you. Join them in an evening of humanity and enter a world full of love, spirituality, superstitions and beliefs.
